    Smile Mary Jane Howard c 1849

    I cannot find a birth certificate or baptisn of Mary Jane . I have searches free BMD and bought 4 certificates that might have been correct. No good
    Her father was Richard Howard b 1819 Liverpool and mother Elizabeth Cowley b 1816 Liverpool.
    She married Richard Thomas Harrison 1 january 1865 (I have the certificate)
    She is on the 1851 to 1901 censuses living in Gascoyne St Liverpool (different numbers) but I cannot trace her birth or baptism. Please can you help. The family is on 1841 census also in Gascoyne St.
    I have checked the following
    She is not the following Mary Howards
    1.
    Free BMD 1848 Sept 1/4
    HOWARD Mary Jane W Derby 20 943 ? 1. S1848 20 943 W Derby - father is not Richard Howard and mother is not elizabeth and mothers' maiden name is not Cowley

    2. M1847 20 1149 W Derby - fathers' surname is not Howard, mothers' forename is not Elizabeth and mothers' maiden name is not Cowley
    3. Also Liverpool 1848 QSept
    vol= 20 page =320 X
    Vol=20 Page=266 X
    Vol=20 Page=359 X
    I have all these certificates, Or proken to Lpool records office about them. They are so helpful.
    Dec 1839 is too early I think.
    Thanks for your help.
    PS I do have her death certificate, and a photo so I know she existed. !!!
    Thanks in anticipation

    Not that I know of. Sorry they all lived around the centre or Vauxhall area.

    Thank you so much for those 2 records. I had not seen the original. I had used that wonderful site Lancs OPC. Still no trace of Mary or her sisters Sarah Ellen and Margaret born 1847 and 1851 respectively.
    Thanks again Lynne
