Funny really. I do so much research on the wars that I knew my son Sam would be born on 3rd September.

Argentina joined other Latin American countries and declared war on Germany and Japan, but by this time (March 27, 1945), the war was all but over.
Relations with Axis countries were broken in 1943, and in 1945, Chile declared war on Japan, being the last nation to join the war.
Talk about coming in for the shareout!

    Mr Grekko...Sir!

The last letter from Chamberlin to Adolf was one of "back off or we will have no alternative to stand up to the aggreement with Poland",(not in these words mind) Adolf invaded Poland on the 1st Sept and unofficially Britain was at war with Germany,Chamberlin gave Hitler a chance to pull out but he dismmissed the threat and then we went to war with Germany on the 3rd.

Britain declared war on Germany on 3rd September. Everyone knew it was coming, but that is the date.

What matters most is remembering the lives it ripped apart.
