Very nice ged. Especially love the mini of course. However, the beautiful orange Ford escort (Mark 1?) could be my next love affair.

It is a Berkley, used Enfield 350 cc twin motorbike engine.

These classic car anoraks have more money than sense...I mean would you spend money out on scrap metal? here is just one out of many enthusiast restorations....gawd! I wouldn't even contemplate working on this piece of scrap metal.......

Nah... I don't think it more money that sense... I think it's just his time and setting up a challenge.

If he can restore that with sheet metal and a welding torch, I for one would be impressed at the skill and craftsmanship....

If he just paid someone else to do it, then I would agree with the "more money that sense"...

I'd go for the Ferraris, a classic shape back then, and still modern looking now...

The Ford Anglia brought back memories, but the one pictured looked a lot nicer than my old red one...

Yes it is a Berkely but I'm sure they were powered by an Excelsior 350cc two stoke engine.Or maybe even a 325cc Excelsior.

A mate of mine shoehorned a 500ccBSA A7SS engine into one of them in the early 60s.
It almost ripped the tarmac off the road with the accelleration.

I ended up Googling it,they used a variety of engines from British Anzani to the big 4 stroke twin royal Enfield which did 100 mph.
