Lei Yi Xin. The face of Martin Luther King looks, frankly, Chinese, and the monument might be more appropriate for a colossal statue of Mao than the American civil rights leader. The statue looks threatening rather than welcoming, as

I think your comments are spot on. Mao and Stalin would be proud to have statues like that.
The stone out of the mountain idea is neat, it's just overdone in size.
