    So It's a separate area.

I would of called It the greatest part of Garston otherwise.

You should try the bridge on Rose Lane after gathering speed from Mossley Hill and aim to have your Mk2 Fiesta lifted off at the brow of the bridge only to see someone sitting a few feet in front of you waiting to turn right

Yep, I remember that one too... but I was too chicken to try that in daylight.... only after midnight. The hill really did help get the speed up.

Cressington Park had much quieter and emptier roads - at least in the 60's...

Had a good mooch down there yesterday as I hadn't been down Beechwood Road since I ran up it at the 20 mile mark in the Liverpool marathon during the 1980s. I remember going back the following sunday to look at the mansions I 'd seen across the way.

Old garages on North Road, just short of the Esplanade.

    Hi G.D.,
great pic's of a lovely area!Did you notice the plaque/sign on the gatekeepers cottage(pic' 3,Ithink?) It commemerates the good job he did,but I can't remember the dates involved, and I guess the "estate" as it was, doesn't exist any more,so it's just another private property!

These mansions stand out well from over in Eastham, they all have their entrances on the side,I presume to keep the wind off the river away.
