    Default Wirral Trams

I thought some members might like to see a couple of photos of trams which I took during visits to the Wirral Transport Museum in Birkenhead. The first photo, taken in October 2007, shows Birkenhead Corporation tram number 69 at Woodside Ferry Terminal. The second photo, taken in December 2007, shows Wallasey Corporation tram number 78 in the same area.

The Wirral is the peninsular (Halbinsel??) that is facing Liverpool (Birkenhead is situated on it)

I see. yes, Halbinsel is right.

I'm still wondering why Birkenhead isn't called Birchhead?
