It is a cracking photo Chris, but I don't think it's North Hill St. It may very possibly be Park Road at it's junction with North Hill St. with the tram just about to pass Northhilly and Sturlas'. I hope so because I've never seen a shot of that area from that time before.
Whether I'm right or wrong - great work Ged, really.

North Hill Street for you then Roni.
The tram is actually on Park Road just passing North Hill Street.

You're right Dave. If you use the scroll bar under the pic, you will see the North Hill st sign on the wall.

I never notice those scroll bars. I would have overlooked that street sign if you hadn't pointed it out

The things is, that you are so busy looking into the picure you don't see the scroll bar.

Dove Street school in 1973 that Mandy was asking about. I'll get you a better copy of this, it was sent to me.

Wasn't it called St. Clement's School in dove st? this was used for ARP's in the war in the event of Gas attacks by the Germans.

Don't know about it being called that, though the church is. It was indeed used by the ARP's, here they are training.

I think it was called st clements but when I went there it was Dove street infants school....my sister was in the echo because the school was 120 years old...that was about 1975?

That's what it's all about Mandy. Glad to have been of some help.
