The view today shows a pedestrianised area with St Johns Beacon now towering above the Playhouse Theatre.

By 'unsightly scrawl' I take it you mean Ged copyright marking.?
Would you agree that is down to the Individual..?
people who allow me to show their photographs on my websiste insist I put 'unsightly scrawl' on them..
it keeps them safe, if I see them elsewhere I can have them removed...
Thats something I've never had to do as they dont get pinched from my website...
and thats down to that 'unsightly scrawl' you mention
I wonder what Joe Devine would think knowing virtually every one of his photos is on the web on different websites..
also on Youtube videos... and they were all lifted from your website...I think Jobo would go beserk..
No, strike that...I lived next door to the man for years... I know...not think..he would hit the roof...
I wonder what the chap who allowed you to show that photo above will think
when the same happens with his photo..
because it will.... sooner or later
I've just lifted it and can do what I want with it...
rest assured Mr Roach.. I have no intention of mis-using your photo..
but not everybody is like me....
it would take years going through a court to prove who owned it....
That wont happen with anybodys photos on my website...
Thanks to that 'unsightly scrawl'
Cheers..
Gerard.
