Hello luketom. My ancestors and I are from that area too so i've taken a particular interest in it and included old photos of the area in the books I have written.

You will find Feather Street circled on the map below (faintly in red just above the middle slightly to the left). The Spice Mill mentioned was within sight of my mams family's house on Kilin Street (also shown) - my dad lived just across the road.

This area was one of the most over populated areas in the city after the arrival of many Irish fleeing the potato famine around 1847.
