Hi DaisyChains,
Yes, lots. I learned my stuff when living on the dole at 100 Hartington Rd. Did some courses at Open Eye- when it was in the old pub at the end of Whitechapel- and used to wander the streets with my trusty Pentax K-1000 snapping away at everything. So have hundreds of B/W negs of this area, mostly 70s/80s.
Darkroom sadly defunct now due to space demands of growing teenagers and rise of digital but intend to start scanning the archive when a suitable- cheap- scanner turns up. Anyone got a spare one that also does 120 negs?
Also hundreds of city centre/river etc etc. Will start posting here when scanner sorted and I get my head around how to do it.
Meanwhile, see galleries below...

ASDA? Amazing. But do you have to leave your negs with them to have it done? I'd be very nervous of that, also having then scratched etc..
I've got hundreds of the ruddy things so may get expensive. Would probably prefer to spend it on a scanner of my own and have total control.
I went on their website and saw details of putting digital images on CD but not scanning negs/slides. I'll give our local one a ring tomorrow to check it out.
I will try to put some images up of the hartington Rd etc area as soon as poss though, so stay tuned! If you're in the Chester area anytime, you're welcome to mooch through the files...

Deprived of its unique dockland waters Liverpool
becomes a Venice without canals, just another city, no
longer of special interest to anyone, least of all the
tourist. Would we visit a modernised Venice of filled in
canals to view its modern museum describing
how it once was?

great photos. The LRO is an excellent place for old photos. I took my camera with me when doing some family tree research and took these.
Crosfield Rd , Edge Hill. My paternal gtgt grandparents had lived in the street from 1891.
Downe St, Liverpool 3 I think it was. Maternal gtgt grandparents lived here in 1881. everytime I look at these I hear the Hovis tune .
Proud Scouser, with a dabbling of Welsh and Irish.
bore yourself silly at my Flickr page...anorak central!

quincyg, i'm from the tenement block that was built on Downe St (the other street on that pic is Holly Street, you can just see the word Holly on the gaslamp), my family were living at 39 Holly Street when I was born.
I'll add the Crosfield Rd ones to the LRO page on my site if that's ok please, Mandy, likewise i'll add Webster Road if that's ok please? Should be able to build up a good collection for people to look at.
