    I go to Mad Max in Anson Street (they used to be in London Road) Nowadays I just ask for a #3 all over and have stopped accusing him of throwing someone else's grey hair all over the cover
    As a lad I went to one at the end of Carisbrooke Road, it did not matter what you asked him for it always ended up as a short back and sides my mother thought it was great value for money and I was grateful that he left my ears on!. I think he was solely responsible for the hippies growing their hair long

    I used to go in to Ernies, befor I moved down South, thats nearly 20 years ago, The first barbers me and my cousin used to get dragged into by our Grandad was Charlie Entwistles, used to be along Park Road, near Wilkies (another blast from the past, long gone now), and he used to give the same hair cuts as Pee Wee.
