    Kev, a great photo.
    I tried to get a good photo of the Florrie for the Dingle book, but never saw this.
    The Florrie magazine uses a thumbnail of this photo, but I've never seen it any bigger, until now.
    It's still the only one I've seen that shows the original tower.

    Great photograph, Kev and Philip. Also interesting to see the period wall ad for Lewis's and the neighbouring buildings and onlookers. I certainly hope the remaining money can be raised to save and restore the Florrie

    Hiya Chris. He was born in Toxteth on 24th September 1942 so either 14 or 15 depending.
