I've got quite a few photos of trams and busses on my hard drive, but can anyone tell me how I can post them on here?

Does anyone know when the trams stopped going along Aigburth road? I've seen a photo of Dingle overhead railway station from April 1955 and Park Road doesn't appear to have any tram lines showing in frame.

    Hello Eric

As far as I know, the trams stopped running by the early 1960's. Someone else can give you a better date, I am sure.

The last Liverpool tram ceased on 14 Sep 1957,it left the pier head en route to Bowring Park on route 6A and finished up at return journey at Edge Lane.

It went further than Edge Lane though it ended up in an American Museum.

Thanks very much for the replies. But I'm after information as regards the last time that a tram travelled along Aigburth road specifically. The final date of the last tram to go along that particular route. I know that various routes closed after the war, but I really would like to know if it was still possible to get tram to Aigburth in April of 1955.
