Great stuff Rob, well done and thanks.
Great maps there! The Municiple wards is an interesting find and a great read. Never knew there was a "North Scotland" and "South Scotland" at one time!
Many Thanks for sharing these!

Well I,m blowed, thank you so much for showing us these smashing maps. I,ve been looking at them for ages. And the promise of more goodies, great, bring it on, and thanks again.
I have given up on the idea that districts within Liverpool can be definitively pinned down once and for all! You pay your money and you take your choice from parliamenary, civic, parish and local sensibility. I was in a shop in Lark Lane the other day and someone had a bus timetable of buses between Aigburth and Bootle from the 40s. Aigburth had two starting points, one in Aigburth Vale and the other in Lark Lane (Livingstone Drive). I never even knew that buses ever terminated in Livingstone Drive.
Great maps BTW - thanks for posting them.
I think I've got a pic somewhere of a prewar bus on the 60 showing LARK LANE i'll try and dig it out. The 1958 timetable hows a few evening journeys to LARK LANE.
The 60 used to start in DINGLE (Ullet Rd/Belvedere Rd) just by the DINGLE bus depot anyone any pics of the external of the depot?
Regards
Rob
