His Watercolours are exceptional to those of his oils.
Watercolour is not an easy medium to control and does take some mastering, but hey maybe I've been out of tune with watercolours for too long and the quality of the ground support has has become far better than what I used to use.....then again I might just be useless working with watercolours? tsk! ruddy Ametuer.

Keep yer F Greens....they might be worth summat when he pops his clogs?

Ever tried acrylic, George? I was pretty sniffy at first... But I now reckon it combines the best of both... A pretty good compromise, I find...

There ain't much yer can do with Acrylics....except watch it dry...which is not long ie speed is of the essence with them.

Watercoulours are the same for me and reverted back to oils pronto like,at least with oils they're very forgiving and you can come back to the painting where you left off 24 hours later.

The only downfall of oils is the price. oo!....er...how much is the cheapest missus....£4 sir.....oo!..er...any cheaper than that?....bu gger off outta my shop.

Tried them both and there's is no substitute for the "Oils" medium.

Must be one helluva guy,tha Rodders.

I'm sure if you popped in Frank's and asked him the same question he gladly would come up with a print.
