Hello.

At FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology) at 88 Wood Street, Liverpool, we are currently researching Bold Street for a gallery show to begin Saturday 30th June. I was wondering if any one has any information about the following:

45 Bold Street (which was home to the Liverpool Union Bank in 1893 but we have no other information on what was here in other years)

75-77 Cramer & Lea (if any one worked here or bought something from this shop, we’d love to know)

85 Bold Street (premises over the years included P&P Campbell’s Dye Works, Carryer and Gill agents for Liberty & Co., Francis and Proctor hairdressers)

92 The Odd Spot Club (we discovered that the Beatles played here in 1962, so it would be fantastic if anyone knew anybody who’d seen them there, or knew anything about the Odd Spot-it used to be a casino)

Please contact me at this email address boldstreet@fact.co.uk

Thanks,

Laura Yates
