    Default new hotel

The new Indigo Hotel nears completion on Chapel St, I suggest Rubik Cube would be a better name for it

Very smart these architect fellows...when you are in the hotel...you can't see what it looks like from the outside.

yeah, it does look like a Rubik Cube.
If they wanted dramatic colour they could have designed it a different way so it didn't look like one.

Too bright, it would be nicer in more in more subtle colours. What were they thinking?

I thought it looked like the old children's board game 'Ludo' where you move around from square to square! perhaps thats what they do to customers!!! and it's called 'Indigo', so after one night there perhaps 'Out-de-come'!!!!!

Looks alright to me, an inprovement on what was an empty space between two buildings.
What does everyone want, another boring square, red brick eyesore.
The city already has an overflow of bog-standard, mundane visages, i welcome anything with a bit of colour.

I don't mind the dramatic colour, but as I said, if the design pattern had been a little different it wouldn't look like a Rubik cube.

There was a perfectly good building there anyway though before the empty space. The building it is alleged was maliciously damaged by the developer so as to make its demolition more palatable.

I see this eyesore also spoils Rumford Place, one of my favourite bits of Liverpool....................a few years ago before the builders moved in!
