While many of us are familiar with what's left of the East side of Low Hill, and that's not much, the West side was full of businesses and pubs which bit the dust at the beginning of the 70s. With the streets that lay behind, such as Meaburn St and Plan Street, the area gave way to the building of small units that still exist as the Erskine Industrial Estate.

Here is the section of Low Hill numbered 3-13, taken on 12th December 1967 which accompany 10 others showing the rest of the row back to the top of Brunswick Road.
