LONG AND RAINFORD

I am researching my family. They lived in the Scotland Rd area of Liverpool. My Grandad was George Long (1907-1945)and he and his brother Harry (Henry 1898-1983) used to do a musical act around the local pubs between 1920's and 1940's. George was married to Eileen Rainford and lived in Chapel place and had 5 children. Eileen died in 1945 and George in 1949. The children went to Olive Mount and St. Edmonds childrens home. One went to live with the gran Annie Rainford, she had a second hand shop in Kensington I believe.
Other family names are, MORAN, SCANLAN,FLYNN, GRIFFITHS, HARFORD, DUFFEY, FORSHAW.
