    Following on from my last post, here is another photograph of Church Street taken some 70 years later.It takes a moment to work out the location, but the Bluecoat Chambers in the background is the giveaway.     I read upon the notice in your picture Colin that some unfortunate housewife has mislaid £20,000. It seems that she may have given it to a dustman as salvage. Those old white notes must have been such a pain.

    Great pic Colin. When I look at these pics I always think if anyone on them is family ..........so interesting to see these pics, please keep them coming.
