Thanks everyone. It's great when you open the LRO folders wondering what will be there and gems like this emerge. Makes it all worthwhile. My foray Saturday gone was very fruitful too as they just let me look through the whole folders and I copied 322 pics. Loads of the Everton slum clearance area of Heyworth Street and the streets off it such as Amos st and Cochrane St.
Now you tell me!

Stan.
Stan, just ask for the HOU folder on Amos St and the streets folder from the orange book too.

I think Liverpool City should pay you Ged, even a small token fee for getting all these photos out to so many people all over the world. Must take so much time but we DO appreciate it................Again, thank you.

Many thanks Ged, I was at the LRO this morning and found photos of Walnut Street, Stonewall Street, Kent Square and College Lane all places that my family have lived.
I was talking to the staff; they told me that the Engineers photos are not yet properly catalogued yet, other than by the year.
I have found other photos of interest on the “on line catalogue”, so I will be making an appointment for next week, and I will ask to see the folders on Amos Street.
Stan.

Thank you Roni and Linda. The payment to me is the obvious happiness it brings to those who comment on the forums and emails but I appreciate your thoughts. The staff joke with me that i'm cataloging their stuff quicker than them

It's a joy to see what might turn up next and there's plenty to go yet.

I've a feeling you're in for a pleasant surprise Stan. If there's any you want in the meantime, just contact me to see if I have them.
