    Smile my grandad george yates

    hi does any one remember my grandad who ran his own fruit and veg cart on wavertree road opposite the police station in the 60s 70s? obviously the police station was,nt there then.

    I remember a fruit cart on the corner of either Dorothy street or Janet street on Wavertree Road but I can't really recall who had it.

    hi steven thanks for your reply, i was a little girl when my grandad had that cart. he used to live in cambridge street with his wife ann and he 6 sons bobby was my dad. i think you could be right about janet street it rings a bell. alls a remember was a chippie being there on the corner.
