Default RN Hospital. Woolton during the War

In April 1941 my father was sent to RN Hospital, Woolton with burns after the ship he served on HMS Mohawk was sunk during the Battle of Matapan. My mother worked there as a Wren nursing and my father and mother met there and married after WW2.

Am I right in saying the hospital is now a nursing home - I can't find anything about it anywhere. I have photos and autographs of staff and patients at the time and a pic of my mother standing outside during a nostalgic trip in the 80s and a newspaper cutting saying they didn't know what was going to happen to the building in the 80s.

Does anyone know anything about the place and maybe have parents who remember it.
