So what's happened to the mega multi million pound promise by Hicks and Gillette. Papers are reporting that the money expected isn't forthcoming and Rafa is once again having to resort to players like ''Benny Hill whom'' or someone who sounds like that from West Ham of all places which is nowhere near the foreign exotic locations expected.

Watch dutch auctions appear anyway, as soon as teams know there's money knocking about, players like Bent being touted for 18M and Andy Johnson being offered 90K a week by the Hammers - what a joke.

Tabloids writing bo##ocks in the summer is hardly new Ged.

The fact is the same papers that were writing that H & G were going to be giving Rafa 75,000,000 are now saying that he's going to get nowt. Both sound daft to me, I think there will be a sizable chunk of change available but Rafa is shrewd enough not to pay over the odds the way Ferguson usually has of late.

It will be a good bit of business if we can get Benayoun for a reasonable fee.

Chris, I don't know about football - only what I hear my son talking about .. but I will stick my oar in amongst the real football'istas here

.. and say - I think it's some rumour that LFC are getting Thierry Henri, Henry ? (spelling ?) - that French guy anyway.

not sure about that litter bin - I think there is a litter bin campaign called Henry or something.

Thanks for your reply, Lindy. Aye, I know all about Thierry Henry, great striker, whom the Reds are unlikely to get, I should think... just wondering what the Henry shown in the photo is, whether it is an actual litter collection device or something that actually was being tried out at Anfield, or whether the photo is just a wind-up.
