Some great flats around there. Epsteins flat is great. Dont matter if he was gay George, good on him.

Empty in the 50's or Brian being gay dont alter the fact that some of the houses are bigger. They are bigger today and have been for over 150 years me thinks.
    BE NICE......................OR ELSE

I have been looking for a photo of a pub in Falkner St called The Vine on the corner of Falkner and Vine Streets, I think it was demolished in the 70s. I have looked in books with pictures of Liverpool pubs but have never come across "The Vine".

I will take a look later at home gerry.

I knew someone in these big fine Falkner Street houses in the 1980s and know someone who lives in Canning Street now. Brilliant spaces and high ceilings, some of the houses still have the foot scraper irons near the steps up to the front door.

A top jolly area at one time Ged. The residents of the houses in Falkner Squar had a key to the park in the centre, which was for there spasific use only.

Yes gerry, i'm sure going back even further when the Merchants deserted Everton for the South of the city, it was even more privileged.
