    Default Christchurch disaster

I was awakened to news of an earthquake in far off New Zealand. Having relatives down there I googled for news of the situation and was shocked to the core at what I saw. Christchurch, which is a sleepy Victorian type town, was absolutely devastated. The NZ tv station that I googled was showing pictures of collapsed buildings, mountain landslides flooding and carnage. The death toll was in 3 figures and the number of injured is unknown as it is still climbing. I hope that the aid agencies are quick to send help because our brothers and sisters down there look in sore need of it,
