Default Burlington Street, 1934 [Title changed]

I have tried to avoid using Liverpool City Engineer’s Department photographs because one of the main objectives of this blog is to present previously unpublished photographs. In this instance, I was prompted by Christine Legge, who emailed requesting any photographs of Princes Walk, which was off Great Howard Street. I get many requests and I [...]

Nice one Colin. You'd be surprised that there are plenty and I mean plenty of LRO photos that have not been seen before, or by very few, given the previous names on the files. Get yourself down there Colin because apart from providing a platform via your great site for others to see these, you can also be amazed at what each file produces, building up your archive at the same time. I'm fast approaching 15,000 photos and have only skimmed the surface.

Bad mistake on my behalf. The photo in the post is of Burlington Street not Great Howard Street. I suppose it doesn't change the other details - but my paperwork needs sorting out. I had the City Engineer's negative number - but misread it. My apologies.
