Ta. It's all these 'Souths', obviously got me mixed up a bit.
Well done lads! Yeah Telegraph House was nearby used to look after it when I was an Estates Manager at BT.

I drove the 16 for a bit in the late 60s. Can't place that at all. Make a guess at Stanley Road.

No. Prince Alfred Road And Walton. I was on the spare sheet at both and was spare man at the Pier Head quite often and got the odd 16 if someone failed to turn to or went off sick. Sometimes got sent to the Haymarket for 51too.
Haven't got a clue where that picture was taken.
Its on the Liverpool part of the route (if you look at streetlights) So it must be Vauxhall rd,Tithebarn St or Chapel St . where's Gerard or Ged when you need them???

Sorry, i've even examined this scene against other photos I have of the streets mentioned previously but as there are no defining buildings such as a pub or shop name, it's hard to work out just where it is.
based on me being daft, I,ll say Islington
I don't think the 16 went along Islington Chippie but Rob will know for sure.
