    MPTE Bristol RE 2088 on route 11 at its City Terminus.

    Nice to see a Liverpool registered bus. My old Mk2 Fiesta's reg was KKB.

    It in the location of the QEII law courts with Trials Hotel and the Town Hall in the far back ground.

    I'll have to look the street up as its not there any more but Cable Street runs off it.

    Thanks folks. I vaguely remember it. Wasn't there a telegraph house or something on Cable st where the postmen/telegram men parked their old red bikes outside, early 70s ish.

    I've found the photos, and while you're right about the bus being in South Castle Street, Telegraph House was actually in South John Street (I wrote it on the back of the photos, that's how I know. )

    I'll scan them now.

    A pic of SKB 173 . A Liverpool Corpy Leyland Royal Tiger with Crossley bodywork .

    These were purchased for Private Hire and for Liverpools joint service with Birkenhead corpy on the Night Mersey tunnel service.

    Pic 2 Sister vehicle SKB 172 as the MPTE Traveller Ticket bus in a nice period 70s shot
