    When this photograph of the Odeon, London Road, was taken, the cinema was just 20 years old. The cinema was built on the site of a boxing stadium which had closed in 1931 and opened as the Paramount in 1934.     ....................and then there's the building today - all closed off and being let to rot - such a shame given its history.

    I passed it the other day in Pudsey street and the place was being gutted, had a quick peek inside. Sad to see, I saw some great films on there. Does anyone know what it's new life will be?
