    Yes, I've seen some horrific shades on houses - custard yellow, bright turquoise, psychadelic purple and dayglo lime green

    Yes, those Everton blue doors certainly brighten up those houses!

    No haven't been there. I'll look it up later.

    This colour blue can only look lovely in places like this - - ( you can't get away with it in any old side street off Breck rd !! .. or Botanic rd. ) ha,ha. just not the same affect !

    Some of the pastel houses on Marine Terrace and Beach lawn ,Waterloo and even some on the Athol Village development carry off their blues quite well.

    It just boils down to being sensible with colour. Depending on where the house is, what age and style the house is, and taking into account the surroundings and the character of the area.

    As I said earlier, blue can look either chic and smart or garish and common !

    'Holiday blues' are fine in seaside settings
