Default My Surname Interests; DODD, CONSTABLE, BRAILSFORD, MOLYNEUX, BROOKES, BRINKLEY

    Hello,

I am new here. I am just wondering if anyone has any connections with the surnames mentioned in the Title.
In particular any relations of John H Dodd born c1916 ir James Brinkley unknown birthdate, (believed to be either Irish or a traveller who was in the West Derby area in the late 50s and early 60s.
The Constables were located in the West Derby, Fazarkerley area.

    Many Thanks

I grew up with a Ken Dodd in Allerton (no, not that one). Coincidentally, he became a constable when he joined the police force! His dad had been a policeman as well.
Last saw Ken when he was a sargeant on duty at Goodison for an Everton match. But that would be over 30 years ago. He'd probably be about 58 now.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the replies.

Kevin - You would not believe the amount of times we have been asked if we are related to Ken Dodd...we now just say yes and watch their expressions .

Karen - Thanks for the info, Muriel is my husbands Nan, she is the in her 90s and still going strong. She is the last of the Constable children now living, her sister died just last week.

    Thanks again,

    Colleen
