Default Still looking for Maud Evelyn Jones - help please

    Hi

I am still searching for any records of my grandmother, Maud Evelyn Jones, nee Clark/e. Last known address was 29 Helmingham Road, Tranmere in 1979. I have a DOB for her but have never come across a DOD -there is a possibility she could still be with us. I know she never liked her first name and was often called Ev.

Previous addresses were in Birkenhead/Rock Ferry area (Alpha Drive, Old Chester Road etc), would really like to know if anyone remembers her or knows where I can find some concrete records about her whereabouts. Parents were Ethel and James both died in 1972.

    Andrea ....
Harold Jones married Maud E Clarke (with an E) in mar 1942 in Birkenhead
so presumably if she was around 20 when she married she would be around 88 now ??
she married in Birkenhead and lived in Tranmere as recently as 1979 ,so I wouldn`t think she would leave that area .....hopefully she is still with us...

    Hi
Thanks for replying, Maud was born in Jan 1922 so would be nearly 90 herself, I know its a long shot but I have found no confirmation about DOD, she didnt like her first name so its a possibility she was always referred to as Ev but I find it hard to believe she moved out of Liverpool area. Any information would be gratefully received.
    Thanks

It is a pity it was 1922 and not 1926...
