    yes, I read about it in a biography - I was surprised to read that he'd lived for a time in Liverpool.

    if im not mistaken,the story goes that mercury met may in the sink club, which is now the Magnet, just down from the philharmonic

    Default Halewood connection

    When I worked in Halewood there was a woman there who was the librarian (Sheila Bursyn) .
    Her son when he was at college in the 60's was in the same band as Freddie, who came up to Liverpool and dossed at her house one weekend.
