Steve
Thanks Steve mate...
I've decided I'm staying in and having an early night..
I couldn't be arsed running around after a bunch of kids...
black and white.. intent on causing as much damage as possible for no reason..
Thats what it is, I know, I was there... in the middle of it..
its mainly kids, teenagers out for what they can get for nothing because
they see whats going on in London..
Its got nothing to with race or any social issues..
Ta matey..
Gerard.

Good for you. Just watched Granada reports, senseless
vandalism with no social or political reasons....
Toxteth Riots..
And the bit the local media never reported..
The morning after photo was taken at 6.30am following the
first night of rioting...
The bit you never heard.. in the press..
or from the MP's that just have to geg in on Granada Reports..
that were tucked up nice and snug when people were crying on the streets of Toxteth..
I spoke with people that had their doors kicked in by rioters..
heavy objects were taken from their houses and used to smash cars...
this was reported to the police an hour before I arrived... and nobody showed up..
I spoke to a chap who was sitting in his car while rioters jumped all over it..
he was ordered from his car and it was smashed to pieces while he looked on..
this was reported to the police and hour before I arrived.. and nobody showed up..
I spoke to a nurse that had her car smashed..
she reported it to the police.. and nobody showed up...
I have photos of these people distraught in the street...
In the half hour I was on Grove St I saw not 1 single policeman or Matrix Van..
These storys and photos can be confirmed by the residents of Grove St...
and I'll gladly introduce anybody ..MP or otherwise to these people..
if my story needs confirming...
In fact I'd love these MP's to get in touch with me to visit these people..
They might get a few answers.. 3 days later..

What time was all this going on Gerard, they were a bit stretched last night with Smithdown Rd.
Apparently 200 yobbos causing mayhem there too !
The 1st night of rioting Mart...
I've just spoken with Helena, the lady who's door was kicked in...
Helena never saw any police all night on Grove St..
actually on it... a Matrix van passed through, in 5 seconds..
and carried on straight through...
the only people that helped locals through that terrifying ordeal were Firemen..
Helena got a response to her phone call about 10 hours after making the call..
And she is willing to to put that to anybody...
Gerard..
Edited....
And the chap who's car was smashed while he was in it ?
his car was brand new... he was told to get out and refused..
he was beaten up in the car.. dragged out.. and beaten up some more..
He rang the police.. distraught, told them he'd been beaten up..
He waited over 10 hours as well before getting any assistance...
Thats the story of an eyewitness ..
he watched "about a thousand" youths rampage Grove Street
from an upstairs window in a flat....
no police turned up to any residents terrified phone calls..

Its at times like that, you get a van load of "friends" to meet you and chase these hooligans back to where they came from, one way or another. Its about time we, as the majority of law abiding citizens, stood up to these vandals / looters or whatever you want to call them and gave them a good hiding.
I see the decent people in London area have been ganging up together and standing up to the looters, turning them away.
As stated already, hopefully the rain will keep them in for the next few days.
It probably all happens a bit fast for you to do anything about it but i'd like to think that with the adrenalin pumping, if I were in a situation like that, i'd lock myself in and start the engine all in double quick time and heaven forbid any of the *******s getting in the way of a ton of high speed metal especially when you're fearing for your life and the ol' arse is twitchin'
