Down the Pier Head.. Tue 26th July 2011..

Kev.. the new.. 'click larger file size' thingy is fantastic...

.......just noticed Kev in case you dont know that feature only works
when you are 'off line'... off line the image is small..
when online the image for me is very large and needs scrolling..
I made them larger as I noticed this new feature earlier...
whats the situation on this.. ?.. best small all the time ?

    View from new Museum..

Luana.. an American girl in Liverpool...
got talking to Luana and she tells me she's been in Liverpool about 6 months..
The Beatles came up and Luana tells me that morning she was looking at 'Lennons Liverpool'
by Bill Harry.... I told Luana I'm Bill's friend and photographer and I took the photos for that book..

I laughed when her jaw nearly hit the floor... talk about a small world..!

    Kev
I know what u mean now, after posting an image, it won't resize unless the screen is refreshed first. This only happens once for the person that posts the pic but not for other members.

I'm reading about programmes like ClipWrap.. but am unsure what to do..

I'd like to use Sony Vegas Pro but its not Mac compatible...
I'm not going to install Windows on my Mac as I got shut of Windows because
of Virus issues etc and I don't want any of that m'larky on my Mac..

Thanks.. I'd be grateful for any help on this..

Just spent the best part of this morning on this thread. Great photo's Gerard. I think you had some of your stuff up here in the Gostins building last year (?).. Lis has moved by the way.
Pity about the handbags near the end though ;-(
On the issue of copyright, I've decided to watermark all the stuff that I restore for my customers. That way they can view them before paying and receiving the final copy.

I did.. 4 photos of mine were in the gallery...

This was one I had displayed in the gallery..

    And this, was another..

They are now in my friends houses... as pressies from me..

I might be looking for somewhere else soon around the town to exhibit my photos...
purely for viewing, I've no interest in selling... I just want to show my work...
I'm looking into getting a little gallery somewhere showing around 20 photos

...any Ideas Adam..? Email me if you do..

    Hi Gerard.
No doubt then, that Lis has brought you up to speed with the shernanagins going on here.
I have a feeling there might be some free space here in the future. If it happens I'll drop you a line.

    Cheers Adam..

I've one or two gallerys in mind..
Somebody who runs a gallery wants a disc of my Images to possibly show them..
3 months ago they should have had them on the disc... ha haaa.....
this conversation has just reminded me... I'll have to get them done...

A Foggy night in Liverpool.. the Walker Art Gallery..

Thank you very much Liz and Adam...
thats very nice of you to say..and its very much appreciated..

This >>> Photo is now hanging proudly in a large frame in my brothers house..
I must say its one of my faves... and one I'm very proud of..

I was advised by professional artist friends to take that photo to a certain Gallery
in Liverpools Rope Walk area.. where they say.. it would sell... in large amounts..
they say I'd get £150 a go for that picture..in that Gallery... at least.
I'm not interested... I just want people to see my photos..
at this moment in time I'm only concerned about trying to make a name for myself
as a decent photographer..that will do me...
for people to view them and hopefully like what I do..

Anything that might follow in future...is a bonus..
I'll always be out taking these kind of photos..
Its My Liverpool... it really is, when I'm alone wandering the streets at all hours...
The smells and noises on the Dock Rd at 2 in the morning.. thats what its all about for me..

Thanks again Lizzie, Adam.. I really do appreciate your kind comments.
