CP - when you've made as many errors as I have over the years, failing to acknowledge then would be rather pointless. To be fair, I'm not always so cooperative - I can be as stubborn as anyone! But I do try to fight that tendency.

I'll keep tracking your burgeoning career and make sure I get up to view your work at one of the future events you'll no doubt have.

Kevin, thanks for that mate..taking the time to let me know..

Magritte was a bit of a maverick who produced thought-provoking images. I wonder who that reminds me of...

    Gerard,
I'm afraid it's usually the priorities of others that I'm subject to. A week on Friday I should be in The Adelphi, then The Crown, for the annual Harrison Line reunion. Instead of which I'll be in Portugal - the second year running I've had to miss the reunion. Each year there are fewer of us left so it's important to see people while they're still with us.

Just a note for anyone who has not seen it, Gerard kindly sent me a copy of his fine photograph "2 Birds a Daffodil and a Queen" which I used on my blog where I posted some thoughts about the Sixties music scene on Merseyside. Thanks again for the use of piccy, Gerard!

    All the best

    Thanks for that Linda...

If I'm honest Linda I have to say I'm not really into art and exhibitions...
I have not got a clue what I'm looking at.. and I dont mind admitting that..
I like the odd little painting maybe, here and there..
If my work is not in any of these exhibitions you wont find me anywhere near them...
unless its at a gallery/exhibition that involves photographer/artist friends of mine....
you definately wont find me going all laaaaa de darrrrr and acting soft staring at some of the sh*** that is called art.. not on your nelly girl..

Gerard, there's a lot of 'art' I don't understand either - and I've even been to art college! Ha!
Some modern art is great, but there's a lot of garbage too !
    Magritte is good though
