    Great pic's Ged,but sad to see the state of some of those buildings,particularly "Elm" terrace,which looked like it had been renovated?!

    Nice pic gregsdad.

    I wonder whether it was wise to remove those chimney stack braces though? When are the next high winds coming? Saying that, they do look impressive very slender and elegant on the front of the building. It's a little odd that the chimney stacks are so close to the front facade with fire-places next to the windows? Unless the chimney breast sweeps over at high level on the top floor?

    Brother Ged, I would like to add a note of appreciation for your endeavours, well done that man!
    On a note of personal interest, one of the cottages shown in Hale Rd,Speke was lived in by my wife's grandparents and other family members until 1974 and is now occupied by another 'old' Speke resident.
