    Hi all can anyone help me im looking to find pictures of handel street lodge lane any maybe some video footage my mum grown up there in the 60s and i would love to find some old pics for her Regards alan

    have you tried the Liverpool Record Office ?

    The online site doesn't have th epicture but will have it in their office

    Was Claypole Street still there when your Mum lived down Lodge Lane? My granny lived there for many years and I vaguely remember the house with the outside Loo and the scullery with one cold tap. Ahh the good ol days

    no she dosent rember that street, but she sure remembers the out side toilet ha ha the great old days of liverpool, i hope some one has got some pics they can share with us of lodge lane, handel street and claypole street.

    Aye, I remember the old loo. It wasnt even porcelain, it was a board with a hole in it, BY ! the splinters !
