went to get a photo of the Sgt Pepper one, but it had gone...humph.

My hubby is learning to be a rather good extra set of eyes... he spotted this one in St John's

this one is Queen Ave arcade

I went to take one of the multicoloured one that was in an office block window in Chapel St, but that's been moved too.

To mark the Go Superlambananas extravaganza the Gulshan Indian restaurant in Aigburth is adding a special Superlambhunana curry to it's menu.

There's one in the entrance to the Museum (William Brown Street). I thought it was already on here, so didn't take a picture.

hubby told me about that one after we'd got on the bus. I went straight up to exhibition yesterday so missed it.

New curry dish celebrates city’s Superlambhunana
    Jun 3 2008
by Richard Down, Liverpool Daily Post

ONE of Liverpool’s oldest and most popular Indian restaurants is paying tribute to the famous Superlambanana with the invention of a new curry.

Mustafa and Salina Rahman, owners of the Gulshan, on Aigburth Road, are inviting customers to try the “Superlambhunana”, which contains lamb, bananas and a combination of aromatic herbs and spices.

The unusual dish will become a regular feature at the newly refurbished restaurant, while the city plays host to hundreds of the iconic part-sheep, part-fruit sculptures, displayed in prominent parts of the city to forge a coherent trail.

They're a brilliant family who are an asset to Liverpool. They originally lived in Anfield and I remember them from school. I knew them through some family friends too.

They always get involved with whatever is happening in Liverpool - they are often seen in the Echo or on the local news.
