Some great ones there Paul and everyone else. I agree with everything you say. They are bringing a smile to everyones face, cost nothing and are a city talking point.

hubby and I spent over hour and half bussing it to Gateacre yesterday only to find Tudorlambanana has gone AWOL

still the Woolton one was intact. had to wait to take photos, there were loads of people there. old camera only has 1 and half inch screen so couldn't see much and no proper focus so these were only 2 that worked

    Flock to see city’s Superlambananas

They don’t make a sound. They don’t move. They don’t do anything. But they’re one of the biggest hits of 2008 – Paddy Shennan goes on Superlambanana patrol Read

That Woolton one is a real beauty Quincey. Sorry you had a wasted journey to Gateacre - it looked such a good one too.
Passed Lime Street yesterday and wondered where the 2 outside the station had got to.
Still managed to get the one inside the Walker and the one outside the World Musuem and the two by the Wellington Memorial. A great big youth got on one of them and I couldn't stop myself yelling at him to get off. Fortunately for me he did, with no trouble!
Noticed inside the Walker there's a booklet you can buy with colour pics of the slbs but it costs £5 so will ponder that a while and see how many I can photograph first.
