Thats hillarious Robbo.. Now, why put two security guards holding up a cage?? Do they really think the thief will bring it back?

Maybe, someone should put a little banana in the center of it...

I like the idea of what the lambanans stand for personally..

If people understand that this art is to show us all what genetically engineered things could become.. Then, art is mimicing reality and hoping the masses understand Research and try and save the real gifts of Mother Nature in their raw form (which we all hope stays alive)..

    Save the bees, for one...

Few people realise that one of the main vectors for the viruses that are killing the bees is the varroa mite. Beekeepers kept this at bay for a few years with pyrethrins, but the mite is now resistant to them, and other techniques were being explored. One of the most hopeful was a fungus that killed the mites but did not damage the bees. Everything was set for a large scale trail, to ensure the fungus didn't affect the hive products, or the people who consumed them, but the government pulled the funding, because DEFRA had been fined so much by the EEC that they have to make cuts everywhere. Our government just don't seem to realise how much bees contribute to the pollination of our crops.

For people keen to have the whole set I see that Walton Vale has got its previously damaged lambanana back.

It's now a blackbullbanana and is on a traffic island on the junction rather than outside the bank where it was.

passed the Black Bull one on the way to Alder Hey yesterday. will get it through the week. we saw Zapps from the bus, in a little world of his own, either dreaming of SLBs or planning a V EXPENSIVE birthday gift for his beloved.

Tudorlambanana - Gateacre - is still showing signs of weather or bstrd damage. why no-one thought to use clear varnish on stuck on bits I'll never know.

RockingSuperlambanana - Alder Hey Hosp (in main restaurant)

got the map one at Allerton Library (already on here so I won't repeat) but this one certainly isn't...
not on the additions list although it is the same size as the official ones.
it's at Springwood Heath primary school

I've heard that Fizz from Fazakerley Steps has been damaged beyond repair
    hope that's not the case

Oh nice one Quincy. Is Connor's Quay in Birkenhead? I'd like to stop my mad aunt going up a Welsh hill? She's already going to London to get the one there even though I offered her a copy of mine.

yes it's Flintshire. Bit of a slog, especially as one train was cancelled and we had to wait 45 minutes for a rail replacement bus from Wrexham! are there no coach firms in Bidston?! added nearly 2 hours onto outward journey.
one of those days, SKY box packed up and took ages to reset it and BT/Yahoo email has been crap for 3 days so not getting emails properly.

anyway grumble over...here it is the (almost) Highest Superlambanana.

I look as purple as the SLB does, having hot flushes in this weather does me no favours

Interesting looking SLB - reminds me of one of those fancy boxes of chocs or sugared almonds you get. What building is it in Quincy? Hope you haven't been breaking and entering again!!!!!
