Hi Brian..... I've seen that image. Do you know which image is from the museum painting?

Got it! Brain spasm...... About 1995, all surviving VdQ crew members were invited to a reunion in Halifax. Each crew member was given a folder commemorating the 1943 event, and the center fold of the folder was a copy of the museum painting. A VdQ member loaned me his center fold to make copies.

That is how this whole scenario started. The image shown in my thread is a copy of the original painting, or that is the image presented to the crew members by the Canadian government.

Thanks for thinking of me...... mighty generous.
