Park Palace, Mill Street: The old Chemist/Opticians sign has been lit up for the last few days. It's still lit now. Strange as it closed as a chemists years ago. I wonder when the bulb is going to wear out.

I took a pic of it lit in daylight, but it's on another PC at the moment. I just thought I'd mention it, before someone switches it off.

Lovely, Quincyg.
A new Salvation Army Hall was never built on that site.
The London Road one is a beauty (Mother Noblett's Everton Toffee), but is fading away.
The whole front should be restored and then coated with something to protect it.
Sometimes, you can only see things once you've zoomed in.
This is in Seaforth Road, and is a mystery.
There's a old looking tile shop sign (maybe 3 ft by 2ft) at the side of an old shop thats been turned into a house in West Derby. It looks strange!!!!
Its on a building row that is diagonal to the Bill Shankly playing fields. Think that my be Eaton Road.
I don#t go that way often now but when I next do I'll take a pic, but it'll only be on a camera phone
Here is a pic of Nobletts, London Road.

Hello quincy
I am wondering where you found this as it is most interesting. The two long curving objects shown on the sign for the "Jaw Bone Tavern 1802" are actually whales' jawbones, as can be seen from the images in a Google search, so I would infer that the tavern stands or stood somewhere near the docks. Am I right? Possibly whalers used to frequent the tavern.
