Resurrecting an old thread here - I came across this place last night - for the last ??? months, after dark, I've seen a brilliant blue light across the park from where I live. I always assumed it was on one of the tall buildings in the city centre, until one night I'd just got back from the Lake District, so I took a compass bearing and put it on the map, and that put it somewhere in Everton. So, coming back from the Lakes again last night, we went in search of the Blue Lights (sounds like something out of a cheap sci-fi ). We found them here at the Everton Water Tower. Mission accomplished

It looks lovely lit up at night. I see it often as it is just up the road from where I live.

I sounds and looks like an accumulator tower rather than a water tower. The reservoir is below unseen
