Default Another Wonderful photo of St. Georges Place, Lime St., Liverpool, 1961

I was fortunate to meet the person who took this pic, Brian Saville. Sadly, he passed away on my lad's birthday, Feb 14, 2007.

Very nice, Dave, but how do you know it was taken in 1961?

    I thought his photos were dated "1959 - 1965".

If you had a time machine, Jona, it would help to know the date.

    What a strange question.

    Not really, Dave.
I just wondered how you knew the photo you posted was taken in the same year as the photo I posted.
It also crossed my mind why you decided to paraphrase the title, which, incidently, was part mine and part Kev's.

I was just about to PM Kev about this, but won't bother now. You've put me in a difficult situation here and whichever way I reply to you, it'll give the reader the impression that either you're a bit dim or you are implying I'm a liar.

I have a set of pics given to me by Brian Saville. They were taken between 1959 and 1965 and this one was taken in 1961. Hardly rocket science mate

    Thank you, Dave.
    Another of your friendly replies.
The photos are not individually dated, as you well know.
