More smashing pics. Thanks Merseywail. I love the old tramcars. I have a few framed pictures of trams on my wall.

Rainford Station, the twin track becomes a single track into Kirkby Station and they are still using the old system of passing the key, from the signal box, which changes the points to the driver, who passes them back on his outward bound journey to avoid accidents

That signal box could do with some support!

It was a good day, though things didn't go entirely to plan for me. I missed the 61 feeder bus to Aigburth & two of the Ribble buses couldn't make it. Here's a few more pics..
Corpy Atlantean Lower Lane route 99

Ribble Atlantean Lower Lane. This was standing in for a Ribble Leyland PD3, the one's with a flat front & big sliding door

Corpy Leyland pd2 just arrived at dale st, on a 59 route. Blind's just changed for next run

My last trip of the day, again the Corpy Leyland pd2 on a 59 Old Roan
