    Welcome to Kalannie anyway

Kalannie, if you enjoy reading memoirs have a gander at Brian Daley's - they are great and will keep you entertained for hours
I keep telling him he should get a book published.

This is the first time I have ever put anything on a forum and all I wanted to do, was see if I could find the rest of a story that I had been reading, or if anyone could point me in the right direction. It really is sad when I end up being accused of being a plant, I really din't want to physically find this person, just the story that he had written. Hopefully I will be able to find it and thanks to all the people who did give me some positive feed back. To Lindy Lou, thanks for the advise about Brian Daley, I have printed off some of his stories and sent them to my Mum.

    Cheers

Sorry, just me being a bit in tongue in cheek !
We did have one or two wind ups before

Not sure if Chippie has completed his story, I don't think he ever got around to writing any more.

I often think of printing out Brian's story, but there is so much of it! it will cost a fortune in ink !! Ha!
I do wish it was in book form. It would be a best seller.

Not too sure where I am up to with this as I printed every thread I could find but they did not seem to be in chronological order. I increased the font size (fading eyes) and ended up with 94 pages. I will see if I can put them in some order and find out which is the last one.

    Cheers

    94 pages ! !
I thought I'd got it all but only had 5 pages ! ( small font size )
The story I have ends with Chippie leaving school.

I can think of several characters who seem to have stopped honouring us with their contributions recently. Some were outspoken individuals with an original view of life they liked to share with us, however quirky or outrageous, or had a gift for creative writing that made their posts a pleasure to read. It would be a real pity if they had been forced out by lesser talents, as I suspect may have happened in a few instances.

By the way, does anyone know whether George and Jacky Gunnion gone the way of the 'Disappeared' or are they just having a rest?
