    Arrow Dingle tunnels (overhead railway terminus)

    another fantastic place to explore is the dingle tunnels currently used as roscoe garage it retains most of its original features and amells like central station

    the main platform area is getting used for the garage but the 3/4 of a mile long tunnel that extends out onto the dock road is just used for storage really and the very nice man who runs the place let me go up and have a look

    this is what you see from the dock road the start of the overhead railway




    the entrance to the garage now if anyones been down this garage driving a car down here is quite scary to say the least






    the start of the long dark wet tunnel
















    the last section just before the end


    the grill at the end


    and looking down right from the very end

    Whats the score on the old vehicals being down there? particulary this one.....
    Old Austin I think?New Scotland Yard used these in the 60's

    Thanks for bumping this up,Eric,haven't seen these before! Great pic's Georgie,that Citroen van must have been quite a rarity,in those day's!
