I found this by accident tbh, but was a great experiance...
The church put on a good spread; There was a local history stall which had old postcards on show as well as a "Walton: Then and Now" book which may still be availible from the church priced at £5.25. Rice Lane Farm were there wil a few sheep and goats too. There was even a town crier fully decked out with a bell! He was having fun with the Lord Mayor from what I noticed. The Church Choir were absolutely amazing.
It was really amazing; I hope some of you guys were also able to get there. It showed that people do still take pride in Walton, They are proud of their surroundings and they will make sure that it remains that way.
Well done to the people of Walton!
